THE LABCORP INTERFACE: YET ANOTHER REASON TO CHOOSE BLUE OX

As of March 2005, Blue Ox has successfully completed our LabCorp interface. This interface proves Blue Ox to be among the leading Practice Management and Electronic Health Record vendors in the country. This distinction offers physicians the most interactive EHR on the market. Results, once received on paper, are now posted via electronic resulting to the physician’s “Results to Endorse” bin located in the inbox.

LabCorp results received electronically will not only limit the huge amount of paper each office is burdened with and eliminate filing but will also increase the turn-around time on requested labs. Once the labs are received they will post to the flowsheet where they will be available to all physicians on the network that have established a relationship to that patient. This will decrease the number of redundant labs that are inevitably ordered across different specialty groups. Once on the flowsheet, the physician will also have the capability to graph selected results and therefore track trends as they relate to patient care.
